Your guests will love this tuna…then they’ll love you…then you’ll love me for giving you my recipe. I’ve gagged on a lot of tuna salad in my day. I love the stuff but when it has the wrong condiments or not enough of the right ones, the napkin goes immediately to the mouth. I use albacore because it has a good weight for a salad. Bread is key. Use rye toast, baguettes or baguette rolls (as shown in the photo). Serve with tortillas, sliced roma tomatoes and cucumbers in vinaigrette dressing.
TUNA SALAD
- 1 egg,
- 2 tsps miracle whip
- 1 tsp sweet relish
- can albacore/ chop it up – no chunks
- 1/2 scallion chopped
- tsp grated carrots
- boil egg hard
- immediately remove hot yolk and cream smooth with miracle whip
- add relish
- add scallions
- stir lightly
- add a spray of carrots and toss in lightly
- stir lightly
